Swords, spells, elves and monsters are the name of the game in Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. A world so full of beauty and magic with more content than the bulk of this generation?s game combined. If you want to lose yourself in a rich world of fantasy then I highly recommend you go out and pick up Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. The premise of the story is that the kingdoms of Amalur are in a massive war where the Tuatha (the enemy) are gaining the upper hand. For some mysterious reason these crimson warriors refuse to stay dead so one man and by man I mean gnome constructs the Well of Souls. The goal of the Well of Souls is to give all the other races a chance at winning this war by bringing fallen soldiers back to life which is where you come in. Once resurrected you will set out on a quest to stop the Tuatha and find out how you ended up a dead man/woman. So with any good RPG you need a lot of content to justify 200 plus hours of gaming and oh boy does Amalur bring it. You get all the typical RPG features like skill trees, loot, armor, weapons, towns and a ton of NPC?s to interact with. What really sets Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning apart is the stellar combat. You will control every swing of your sword, every bolt of lightning and every roll of the dice?well not the last one so much lol. Unlocking chests with lock picks will be something you become very accustomed to. Massive environments to traverse that will take hours to explore every nook and cranny which I guess is ...
