Everyone knows Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest was a huge disappointment after Castlevania 1, but why? In Sequelitis, I passionately discuss the relationships between video game sequels and their predecessors. I also crack a lot of jokes which may or may not be funny. Getting a laugh or two out of a video is a-okay with me, but I hope along with it we can open up channels for more intelligent discussion on game making and how designers both young and old can learn from the greats and not-so-greats.

James Atkins: Just finished playing through Maverick Hunter X. I have to say, Probably one of the better MegaMan games I've ever played. X's story is exactly what egoraptor said it was in his sequelitis: MM Classic vs. MM X video, everything he said was spot on. The unlockable prequel movie: The Day of Sigma was incredibly good and the inclusion of Vile as a playable character was definitely a twist and he is definitely a more challenging character to play. Overall a very fun game and worth a play through.
