Undercover Boss Cbs

Does anyone believe that a company like, burlington northern santa fe railway, or union pacific railroad would allow undercover boss to film them as they go undercover to gain insight on their very own company, by the way, undercover boss is a show in which aired directly after the superbowl, and has senior executives go undercover to gain insight on their company.

Answer: I doubt it, I dont expect Matt rose showing up on a track gang anytime soon. You wont see Warren Buffet switching boxcars in a blizzard in Havre Montana, I guarantee you. Seriously, it just wont happen, you need training to do any railroad job. Without it, you would look just plain stupid and extremely out of place. No way in hell could these guys fake it and look even the tiniest bit convincing. Never in a thousand years. One thing railroaders are good at, it is spotting a phony.

Regarding the CBS program, "Undercover Boss", where to they hide the camera from the employees so that it (camera) shoots both the employee and the undercover boss, and so that it follows them around? I mean, that must be SOME hidden camera, because "they say" that the employees don't know that the boss is there evaluating them and the business. So, where to they hide that camera?

Answer: That's the fakey part of the show. The camera is there in plane sight. They tell the people that the man is there to evaluate the job for a project.

tonite i watch UNDERCOVER BOSS on CBS. its REALLY good about a boss he goes undercover and instead of he tell people wut to do THEY tell him wut to do and the boss get to see wut it is liek 2 be liek a REGULAR PERSON. ok, i wuld liek to create a tv show based on underdover boss. it is called.... UNDERCOVER MOM ok, so u taek a regular mom and she goes undercover and they maek her look liek a kid with special makeup and they say to the kids ok here is ur new SISTER and its actually the MOM in disguise and she get to see wut it is liek being a KID and she learn how hard it is to be kid and at the end it is reveal that HEY KIDS THATS UR MOM the whole time. big surprise ending, everyone surprised. wut do u think of this idea for a tv show? do u think it will be succesfull? i just want 2 respond to the ppl who say mom wuld be 2 tall 2 act liek a kid. i propose 2 solutions: A) select a mom who is very very short (liek snooki from jersey shore), or ppossibly even a midge b) just have the mom walk around on her knees so the kids dont notice how tall she is

Answer: Interesting idea, but it would never work. No amount of "special makeup" can make an adult mother look like a child. For one thing, she'd be way too tall. Also, the makeup would be obvious and not really hide her age. And her own children would recognize her face, eyes, voice, etc.

Many New Yorkers dislike how the Metropolitan Transportation Authority did during the past few months such as increasing the price for the rides and getting hundreds of workers laid off. Would it be a major difference if the current CEO of the MTA become the next undercover boss for the CBS television show Undercover Boss? If the CEO does participate in the show to be the undercover boss, he would experience how people would feel when he works in the front-lines as a co-worker. He would have the chance of asking children and parents if taking away their Student Metro Cards would be a great idea. If he listens to what people say, it would help improve their business so they can get out of debt and make an agreement with the people of New York.

Answer: The MTA's problem's evolved from the economy and the fact the state has yanked some funding from the system. It's not the CEO's fault. there is nothing he could get from undercover boss that could save the MTA's bank account. wage hikes for employees, a drop in income from taxes, and a drop in ridership due to the loss of jobs. They have to take away the cards, they have to cut back on service. There is no way the MTA can float without losing some weight. They don't have a choice.

On CBS, they have a new television show called Undercover Boss where the President/CEO of a major corporation goes undercover in their own company to actually see what goes on behind the scenes of their company. So far, the President/CEO of Waste Management. 7-11, White Castle and Hooters were undercover in their business to see what went right and wrong in their companies so that they can make necessary changes so that their companies can be more effective. Do you believe the television show Undercover Boss on CBS is effective to show the President/CEO of a company know whats going on in their company? Why or why not? I believe the show Undercover Boss is an effective television show because it informs the executive of a company on what goes on in the business they operate since many bosses do not know what goes on behind the scenes. The President/CEO I would like to see on Undercover Boss in the President/CEO of Wal-Mart since many Wal-Mart employees complain about working at Wal-Mart and this company has become the laughing stock of the media in the past.

Answer: Yes, I think it is effective when the Boss goes "undercover". Too often the Boss is so far removed from the employee doing the job that the Boss really doesn't have a good perspective of what it's like to be at the bottom of the Organization Chart. I was surprised to see a rerun of the show so early in the Season. Maybe CBS needs to go undercover in their own Organization.

Undercover Boss is about CEOs going undercover in their own companies. Is that show scripted? I just saw 2 episodes of it, and it seems very fake and scripted.

Answer: They explain in the beginning that the cameras are following the person for a documentary about entry level positions - something along those lines. My b/f thinks its definitely scripted b/c it seems to show everytime, an employee who gives all their time and effort to the company, doing so many things and not being rewarded for it...an employee that is doing something wrong so to speak and then the CEO promising change. I think its an okay show. For me, it gives hope to those lower level employees that "the man" does indeed care about the company and what goes on.

HOw?

Answer: I get the feeling the whole thing is staged...The situations and human interest angles are too perfect for "reality" but more like "reality TV".If the workers don't know the deal, then the company does some heavy duty research to present just the right employees for the right audience reaction....Sympathetic do gooder, chauvanistic manager...etc. ..The show says it tells workers they are filming a training video..After the first season, I'm not sure many employees will buy that anymore....

Answer: Yeah i Think i might watch i saw a little bit of it the other day and it looked quite good. I think thats a good thing for CEOs to do so they can see what there workers actually have to go through.
