The small house she shared there with her parents, three sisters, and a brother lacked many modern conveniences. But the children were raised on the Bible, strong discipline, and a lot of love. These principles forged a strong drive in her that she carried into her adult life. However, the simple country life Loreane knew and loved did not prepare her for the changes she would face while raising her own three children, Londria, LaDainian, and LaVar. Especially when LaDainians love of football catapulted him into the position of superstar running back of the San Diego Chargers, taking her with him every step of the way. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to be on television programs like 60 Minutes, or to be making commercials for the likes of Campbells soup and Visio, or to be giving countless interviews to radio stations and publications like Sports Illustrated. Loreane currently lives in San Diego, California, is an ordained minister, dabbles in real estate, speaks on being a Champion to schools and organizations, and is the founder of San Deigos Business Womens Magazine with a readership of almost 100,000 businesses and industries. She is an author, an encourager, a tremendous networker, and has helped numerous businesses reach their audience. What People Are Saying... SO looking forward to seeing you and learning from everyone at The Big Event!" Bethany Moller"The energy around The Big Event is amazing!!! I will be there, along with as many people as I can tell because I thrive when I involve myself with community, sharing, giving, participating, volunteering, growing and seeking. I know my purpose isnt to only make money. I want to make my world a better place. I want to step up and plug in! I want to serve something bigger! I think we all do. I can hardly wait to connect with everyone there! This is HUGE!!! Yeah!!!" Chris Sylvada"Manna you did it again! Cudos to you!!! The timing and the purpose of this event is PERFECT!!! The purpose resonates with what we are ALL feeling and thinking but dont know where to begin or how to bring this into action. Everyone I talk to lights up as soon as I mention this concept and we are all making our plans to BE there!!! We wouldnt miss this for the world!" Hal Jordan"The power of a like-minded group of people should never be underestimated. I cant wait to reconnect with so many friends at this event and to meet new ones! Together we can be just as you declare A Force For Good! Cant wait to see what we can create together!" Lynn Rogers"The Big Event couldnt come at a better time! Manna you are a great inspiration and a wonderful visionary who always comes through! Ive talked with a lot of people about it already and we will be there! Our families, businesses and communities need this! We need to tell the truth about what really matters, and then do something about it! As business owners, we can totally grab onto this vision and we are eager to learn more!" Liz Norden"I saw you speak over 15 years ago and you moved everyone in the room then to tears, and to action. Glad some things never change! You have always been a great inspiration and mentor. The Big Event is going to be the BEST ever because it comes from the heart of service that meets the critical mass of change. This needs to happen not just in our businesses, but in our communities and world. Theres a saying - Go BIG, or go home. With you, theres no other option, but to go BIG and were right there with you! Lets do it!!!" Steve and Madeline Krawse"The Big Event is so timely and truly is a message we all need to hear and act upon. You have always been a BIG thinker! Your vision and commitment to see this through couldnt have come at a better time. So looking forward to seeing you and so many great friends soon!" Richard and Carolyn Clarke"The world has become too complicated. Getting back to the simplicity and brilliance of fundamental principles takes courage and resolve. My vision has always been - and will always be, to create healthy communities that support, encourage and empower each other. A house divided cannot stand. We need to come together and speak truth and life into each others lives. The silo mentality doesnt work never has. We need to put more faith in the promises of the future, than in the fear and deception of antiquated marketing ideas. Its time for us to rally and to build a united front that takes territory back and to live in victory." The small house she shared there with her parents, three sisters, and a brother lacked many modern conveniences. Its time for us to rally and to build a united front that takes territory back and to live in victory." Most underrated player in the NFL?
Who do you think the most underrated player at any position is in the NFL? My nomination... London Fletcher--MLB Redskins, going into his 14th season Supporting facts: Ray Lewis: 15 seasons (starting 194 games) London Fletcher: 13 seasons (starting 192 games, consecutively. This ranks second only behind Brett Favre) Since the NFL has been starting recording tackles as an official stat in 2001 Ray Lewis: 1,045 tackles London Fletcher: 1,244 tackles Fletcher entered league in 1998 From 1998-2010 Ray Lewis: 30 sacks London Fletcher: 30 sacks I have proven that London Fletcher is Ray Lewis, statistic wise. Now... Ray Lewis: 11 Pro Bowl Selections London Fletcher: 1 Pro Bowl Selection (only because Johnathon Vilma of the Super Bowl contending Saints dropped out) Some will counter on the basis of Ray Lewis being a better leader, but I will disagree. Lewis is the more VOCAL leader. You hear anybody talk about Fletcher and they will say he is every bit of a leader as Lewis.
Answer: I totally agree 100% about Fletcher. Most times when a player is underrated its because they just started to break out and haven't started to get the recognition they deserve, but in Fletcher's case its because he lived in the shadow of Ray Lewis and to a lesser extent Brian Urlacher. Besides Fletcher I'd say that Jamaal Charles is a guy that not many people have heard of but is on the verge of becoming an elite runningback. Other guys that don't get anywhere near enough credit are Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph (the best CB duo in the NFL), Anthony Spencer, Steven Jackson, Yeremiah Bell, Nick Barnett and London Fletcher. Its hard to say who's the most underrated, since that all depends on who's doing the rating, but the case could be made for any of those guys.
I can't be the only one who feels this way...?
Is it me or is everything cheapened these days? Piss poor efforts, instant gratification, greed.. All factors in why our culture sucks these days? Music sucks, movies sucks, girls are literally plastic and pounds of make up ( what happened to natural beauty? ), people are judged by their bank accounts and pocket books ( I remember another time when an individual's value was determined by their dollar worth -- slavery! ), families aren't as strong as they used to be, people are lazier, TV shows are absolute madness ( Can Vh1 really stoop any lower or get any trashier? And Reality TV, that was the beginning of the end for television... ), even the cartoons suck these days, and about those movies... Do you REALLY know the names of today's "A List" actors anymore? Once upon a time I could name several without blinking... Might have something to do with acting not requiring talent anymore, just a pretty face... Twilight, anyone? Everyone is narcissistic and so "look at me!" now-a-days... Twitter? Facebook? Are you really THAT lonely? Attention seeking? Besides, let's not talk about the girls on there.. When has it ever been accepted for a GUY to be narcissistic or attention seeking? Why is our culture so down in the dumps? Everything is backwards and has completely lost its luster... I checked out a list of upcoming horror films the other day on Youtube, scheduled for 2010,2011,2012 releases... of the 25 previews, 22 were remakes or sequels.. Hello! Originality?! I know you'll tell me there's a market for this stuff ( or not.. considering poor sales numbers ).. but, what's the alternative? If all you produce is trash, then we're forced to lower our standards for the sake of wanting to be entertained... Even video games suck now.. I grew up on Final Fantasy 7, FFT, Marvel vs. Capcom, Golden Eye 007, the old Madden Games, SNK, Capcom, Squaresoft.. SNES, Gensis, Dreamcast, PSx, PS2, N64, Neo Geo... Remember replay value? When you could finish a game and start all over... I can't find reason to do it anymore.. Here's an idea: make an FPS with great graphics and an online multiplayer co-op or competitive mode and it'll be a sure hit... Yawn. Even sports sucks now; press-army squads of SUPER TEAMS?! ( MIAMI HEAT, ANYONE?! ) What happened to COMPETITIVE SPORTS? Forming an alliance with your super star buddies to get an NBA ring is about as lame as it gets... Thanks for ruining that one for me, Miami... And yeah, the Yankees BUY championships... It's just not fun, anymore.. Football still has hope, though ( then again, when's the last time you actually laughed at a super bowl commercial?..). Everything is style over substance, image triumphs, genius marketing ( even with BS products like an iPad.. ), and corp. greed...
Answer: I can somewhat agree with those things you've stated. I think that the problem is that mostly everyone growing up in the 2000s (whether it'd be children or teens) have been spoiled in a technology-rich/media obsessed environment. They want to follow the trends so they can be considered "modern" or "cool". Speaking of such, on my cousin's half brother's birthday he went absolutely ballistic just because he got a laptop and didn't get a cell phone...he's NINE years old. That ungrateful little **** should be thankful he got anything at all... I grew up on the retro systems back in the day, and I can agree that games were much more fun, and original than they are now, but there are still some new games that I kind of like playing (Though, aren't as nostalgic.) Reality television is quite awful, too. If you had noticed --Disney is obsessed with romance. Every sitcom they have now always has some girl in every episode saying "Omg they are sooo hot", and also, no matter how old they are, they almost always have a cell phone, computer, and a myspace/facebook. Another thing...It seems that the media claims having a boyfriend at age 10 is "cool". Seriously...what the hell? They really want children to grow up as sluts. Also, what the hell happened to humour? Nothing I see now on TV even makes me crack a smile (Including that god-forbidden "Two and a half men" show. ALL of my friends like that utter crap.) Lots of people would disagree with these thing being said...especially my friends. When I say these things, they say that I need a reality check, or "playfully" call me an old person. ( I am only 17...) Things are slowly, slowly getting worse as we speak ... - Enigma
NFL - Super Bowl 2010?
Who will be able to stop the New England Patriots w/ TO ? Why did the Bills screw up by not re-signing him ?
Answer: Jets vs. Cowboys And there is a reason why TO has never won a Superbowl...he's a terrible teammate that ruins locker rooms.
will bears win super bowl 2010?
Answer: I'm not going to say they wont, but they're definitely not favored.
What team in the NFC is going to have a super bowl season in the 2010-2011 season?
Who is gonna represent the NFC in 2011?
Answer: Probably the Packers or Cowboys...but both will lose out to the Jets.
How many games will this mystery team win this year?
There is a certain team in the NFL.... In 2006 this team won 6 games. In 2007 they won 8 games. In 2008 they won 10 games. In 2009 they won 12 games. How many regular season games will this team win in 2010? (Hint: it increases by 2 each year!) BQ: What will be this mystery team's margin of victory in the Super Bowl next season? BBQ: Will you be rooting for this team when they go 16-0 in 2011?
Answer: Well 14 wins might be a bit of a stretch, but there's no harm in setting the goal high. As much as I think Brad Childress is a horseshit playcaller, he has improved the team by two wins in each season, which is exactly why he got his contract extension. He has brought in tons of talent to the Vikings including Adrian Peterson, Jared Allen, Percy Harvin, and of course Brett Favre. He has made this team a successful and super bowl contending team. Let's hope he continues to bring the Vikings to new levels. BQ: Haha wishful thinking again but I like it. If the Vikes reach the Super Bowl and win, I will be beyond ecstatic not only because my favorite team won, but because I can finally shove it in the face of all my friends who cheer for the Packers, who always rip on my team for never winning the championship. BBQ: Now you're definitely on cloud nine!
Division winner predictions for the 2010-2011 season? Pre season super bowl picks. favorite team?
raven fan asking for good answers. no negative comments please.
Answer: AFC: West: 1) Chargers 2) Raiders 3) Broncos 4) Chiefs Why: Chargers, w/o V-Jax and McNeil, are still the class of the division. It's always possible that the Raiders and Broncos contend for a playoff spot, but I just don't see it happening this year. The Chiefs have NO direction. Dorsey and Tyson Jackson, their last two first rounders, combined for a sack last year. East: 1) Patriots 2) Jets 3) Dolphins 4) Bills Why: I think the Patriots have a couple of runs left in them, as long as Tom Brady is healthy. Welker won't be himself, but the Patriots should get by. To be honest, it wouldn't shock me if both the Jets and Dolphins get in the playoffs as wild card. The Bills are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Their QB and Offensive line situation is a trainwreck. South: 1) Colts 2) Titans 3) Texans 4)Jaguars Why: Peyton Manning. The rest of the division is bunched together. Expect a very disappointing season from Chris Johnson. Not only has he missed all offseason, but he received almost 400 carries last season. The Texans are another team that'll contend for a playoff spot. The Jags had a disappointing draft, and really didn't improve their team. North: 1) Ravens 2) Bengals 3) Steelers 4) Browns Your Ravens had a very good offseason in acquiring Anquan Boldin. The Bengals generally don't maintain success very well, but this team certainly got better in the passing game. The Steelers will be w/o Rapistberger for the first four games, and I don't think they'll be able to overcome it. The Browns field Jake Delhomme at QB. Enough said. NFC: West: 1) 49ers 2) Cardinals 3) Seahawks 4) Rams This is such a weak division. I honestly think the 49ers would finish last in the NFC East. With that being said, they hope they have their franchise guy in Alex Smith. Same with Leinart in Arizona. The Seahawks had a great draft, but have way too many holes on their roster. the Rams will continue to be the worst team in the NFL until Sam Bradford proves he is the franchise QB. East: 1) Cowboys 2) Eagles 3) Redskins 4) Giants The Cowboys should contend for a super bowl this season. It should be interesting to see how Kolb performs as the franchise QB. The Redskins got a lot better with McNabb, but there are so many egos on that roster to succeed. The Giants were heartbroken Rolando McClain didn't fall to them. Should be interesting to see how the Giants perform after being thoroughly embarrassed the last few weeks of the season. South: 1) Falcons 2) Saints 3) Buccaneers 4) Panthers The reason why the defending champions won't win the division is the uncertainty. 7 of the last 8 years, a new team has won the division. If Matt Ryan can return and have a healthy season, this is a team to be reckoned with, as are the Saints. The Bucs will surprise a lot of people this season. If Josh Freeman continues to develop, they may have 6 or 7 wins this season. The Panthers lost Thomas Davis for the season, which was a brutal blow to the defense. North: 1) Vikings 2) Packers 3) Bears 4) Lions This will be a very close division race. Both, the Packers and Vikings, are pretty much even. I'm giving the Vikes the edge for now. The Bears are an enigma. They go out and sign Julius Peppers and give the OC job to Martz. Cutler will be laid flat on his back more than Tiger Woods after a golf tournament. The Lions are an improving team, but won't contend this year. SuperBowl prediction: You may not want to hear this, but I think the Ravens will just miss the Super Bowl. Colts over Packers
Tim Bradley vs Devon Alexander, possible date one week before the 2011 Super Bowl, who you got?

Answer: The winner of Devon Alexander vs.Tim Bradley should face Manny Pacquiao...I'll go with Alexander..by Unanimous Decision...
lions 2010 preview/ super bowl?
can somebody tell me how many games the lions will win and when they will win or get to a super bowl.
Answer: I agree with the general consensus of comments on here. The Lions will go 5-11 or 6-10. A 7-9 record alone would be a large reason to celebrate considering the ashes from which they've risen. A lot of their future depends on how Matthew Stafford develops. Little could be evaluated from his previous season considering the team he was given and his professional inexperience. Personally I think they need somebody to compliment Calvin Johnson and I'm not sure if Nate Burleson is quite good enough to be considered an alternate threat. This is just one of many issues the Lions need to overcome to become a playoff caliber team. But they've gradually filled holes which is a promising sign. Their defensive line in particular should be a massive upgrade with Suh and Vanden Bosch. I think in three years given injuries don't plague them and Stafford materializes into a good draft pick they could conceivably be a playoff team then. It will take them time and a couple more seasons of decent drafting. However a majority of their most talented players are still very young which is a good foundation for rebuilding.
