I met this guy over the internet and we've been talking for over a year now and I like him. I think he might like me too. He tells me I'm very pretty and cool. When I talk about myself he tells me how interesting I am and stuff. He also tells me how he loves cuddling and always says stuff like ''come over and cuddle now! haha'' (he's just joking obviously). He lives in the next state over, which I visit a lot because of the beach. But now summer is ending and I won't be going there as much. He really wants to meet and so do I. I had a door install done by a well known national chain. They sent in one of their subcontractors who has a state license on record (I did an internet search). I also did a local background search & found a few felony convictions on this guy. So, now I'm worried about the extra handwritten notes that his female assistant asked me to sign. They said it was to insure that they would be paid by the big name chain store. The install had to be done twice due to the door having a faulty hinge weld. Should I be worried? It seems like it's just not safe to allow anyone into your home these days.

Answer: Sounds to me like his covering his bases to claim a warranty work payment from the store or manufacturer. (It may be required by the store to turn into the mfg). As long as the work is done properly, they require NO additional payment from you, or ask you to lie, I don't have an issue with their request. Be sure to get a paid in full receipt for the agreed upon price and you should be good. On a side note .... I once had a partner with a record, because of his record he is shut out of most any job. As a result he has almost no choice but to become self employed. He now has a wife and kids, he's turned his life around, and is still a good friend. But completely understand your concerns. Please only sensible helpful answers. My son's 20 month old syrian hamster is not well. Though the vet couldn't determine what is wrong with him, the hamster was prescribed 0.05ml Baytril antibiotic for 7 days (since Monday 23 August). He has had loose faeces which is smelly (only noticeable when sniffing soiled bedding there is no general unpleasant smell in the vicinity) - I can't determine yet whether this is wet tail or due to the antibiotics. He is eating a little, I am trying various safe foods to tempt him and he is taking some fluid - though I'm not sure how much - as he is not well he is sleeping a lot and is not active (he usually is up early in the evening and just loves coming out of his cage and then runs on his wheel half the night when put back in for the night). I am ensuring that any soiled bedding is replaced. His cage is large and has two levels and I have removed the upper level and his exercise wheel temporarily just in case he should fall. When he does wake he initially seems to be off balance and does not seem have much strength in his back legs though he isn't dragging his hind legs - could this be because he is not exercising? I know its a difficult question to ask when you can't see the hamster but has anyone any sensible suggestions as to what may be causing this, despite spending so many hours on the internet trying to establish what may actually wrong with the hamster, I haven't got very far - maybe there is a vet on this site who may be able to offer some greatly appreciated assistance. I know I may need to take him back to the vet if things don't improve soon. Many thanks. I am in the UK. He hasn't been given melon. He currently has in his cage very small portions of cooked rice, cooked chicken, porridge, organic live natural yoghurt, toast as well as his usual dry food, fresh water. I am thinking about introducing a small amount of raspberry leaf as I have read it can help with diarrhoea. Having read about hamster strokes, it appears that a common sign is that they tilt their head to one side -I have not seen this with our hamster. He is happy to be picked up and does not appear to have pain anywhere as I have gently stroked him all over to check.

Answer: I am sorry to hear about your hamster. It is very hard to determine the exact cause of some hamster illnesses as they are too small to do many tests on such as blood etc. Generally very runny faeces and a strong odour indicates wet tail, so the antibiotics the vet prescribed would be the usual treatment for this. When unwell hamsters do tend to curl up in their beds and sleep, and can go downhill very quickly, especially if they do not drink. They are so small that even a little fluid loss can be fatal, so if you can get him to take more fluid that will help. We tend to syringe-feed water mixed with rehydration salts, your vet can supply you with some of these. The weak legs should not have anything to do with not exercising, it is probably more due to him being very weak overall. His age could also factor into him becoming weaker more quickly than a young hammy, but without seeing him it's hard to say much more. If there are no signs of lumps, tumours, painful limbs etc, then wet tail or another similar infection is probably the cause. You may have to prepare yourself for the worst, as it does not normally have a good outcome, but having said that, I took on and nursed a hammy who had 4 bouts of wet tail and got through each one. Fluid is the key - if you can get some syringes and powder from your vet then you are giving him the best chance. Good luck!

Answer: You're looking at the Aston Waikiki. :) The 225 square feet would normally include the bathroom area as well, but not the lanai. Everything would be in a space about 15 feet by 15 feet, so it's not huge. If you want to be sure, just contact the hotel directly. They're easily going to be able to tell how many people are in the room from the luggage, the linens, the towels, etc. You'd also probably prefer 2 room keys, etc. I'd pay the extra person fee for the peace of mind and an enjoyable vacation rather than spending your whole time fearing getting caught.

A few weeks ago, a pop up came onto the screen whilst I was on the internet and it looked just like the control panel menu and it looked as if it was doing a scan or something. It wasn't until I saw the internet bar at the top that I realised it was a pop up and so I closed it before anything happened. Then a few days after this pop ups came onto the computer saying things like ATTENTION ! SPYWARE ALERT and it tells me I have trojans and stuff. The worst part is though that random internet sites come up every few minutes and these are like viagra.com and adult.com. Why the hell are these coming up? I have never ever been on any sites like this and it makes it look as if I have because of this. I cannot connect to the internet on it because the screen says we can not show this page as it could have harmful things on... It wont let me go on google on it, or any other websites and I know google is not harmful. I have read up on it and it says that this is a virus and is downloaded manually, but I haven't downloaded it, it was just there one day. Also I have read that a programme called Spyware Doctor gets rid of it, I checked that this was safe and lots of people recommended it and said it was by afar the best anti virus software, although it has found some risks but it will not get rid of them until I buy the product. I don't want to buy a product to get rid of it, is there a way to get rid of this Antivir Solution Pro without paying? I have noticed that the only way to acces the internet or the laptop without it coming up with all the pop ups is to use the laptop in safe mode, it has windows xp on it. But it is my boyfriends family laptop and so I need to get it sorted asap! Please someone help me!!! :( I have been on that 2-spyware website and that told me to download spydoctor. I cannot get on the internet to download that malwarebytes thing unless I go into safe mode with networking... Also there is norton on the laptop and it has done a full system scan and removed loads of stuff but not the virus. The previous poster that suggested Norton - forget it, Norton wont run if Antivir Solution Pro is running as the minute you try and run the setup Antivir will tell you, you have a virus in the file and stop it from running (it's lying you don't really, it's called a DOS (Denial of Service) attack). There is a really easy way to get rid of it, but it depends on how competent you are with your PC... I've repaired numerous PC's with this problem and it takes me about 10 minutes 'cos I know what I'm doing... however average person not knowing what they are doing could take them a lot longer... Firstly you need to get into Safe Mode, in Safe Mode this Antivir Solution Pro wont run so you can then begin to start removing it (the only problem is neither will most Antivirus software either so you have to remove it manually - Brilliant! You are running XP - good that makes things a little bit more easier - Press F8 on your computer as it's booting (when you first turn the computer on your should either have a black screen with all writing on it telling you what memory you have and everything or a company logo like Dell or Compaq or something, in the brief few seconds between that disappearing and the Windows XP logo appearing you need to press F8 (usually you can just repeatedly press F8 on the keyboard as the BIOS screen is on, sometimes you trigger a keyboard fault when doing this and need to press F1 and then continue pressing F8) If you do this right you will end up with the Windows startup menu (you can also invoke the Windows startup menu by pressing the power button down when windows is booting for about 20 secs so the computer goes off and then turning the computer back on, this is not the ideal way of doing it, but it does work) When your in the start up menu choose Safe Mode (the top option) (use up and down on the arrow keys and press Enter to select) Once you get to Safe Mode it will ask you if you want to use enter Safe mode or use system restore click Yes to proceed into Safe Mode. When in Safe mode click the start menu and click run type MSCONFIG Go into the Startup tab of MSCONFIG and go through the programs listed Most of them should have a command starting "C:\Program Files\....", or some will just have the command name, or "C:\Windows\..." most of these should be ok You will find one or more that will have a location of C:\Documents and Settings\.." This is Antivir Solution Pro. Now to find this little devil and get rid of it - there is two ways to do this, one way leaves all your normal settings in place, but involves a bit of typing, and the other way changes a lot of your safety settings, showing hidden files and all sorts, so I'll demonstrate the easy way below with the typing, as long as you type exactly as I've put below you should be fine.. The easy way with the typing firstly make a note of what directory the EXE file is in e.g. if the command is something like C:\Documents and Settings\MyUser\Application Data\5AABB6\3DAC6.exe you need to make a note of C:\Documents and Settings\MyUser\Application Data\5AABB6 (btw the virus really will most probably end in a really weird name and be in a weird directory like above - it's a randomly generated number to try and prevent detection) click Start and run and type CMD and press enter This will open the little black box In the black box type the following (nb = press enter key) :- C: CD \ (replace with the directory from above without the C: bit at the beginning e.g. CD \Documents and Settings\MyUser\Application Data\5AABB6 ) then type ATTRIB -R -A -H -S REN (replace filename with the bit at the end of the command after the end \ that we didn't note down in the directory e.g. ATTRIB -R -A -H -S 3DAC6.EXE REN 3DAC6.EXE 3DAC6.BAK Once you've done this for all programs that are running from the Documents and Settings folder, reboot your computer into normal mode This should stop Antivir Solution Pro from running and allow you to use Norton or ESET or whatever to clear the remains of it up

It popped up on my computer one day and I wanted to access the internet but it wouldn't let me. I tried to restart my computer but it wouldn't let me. I tried to install a anti virus software but it wouldn't let me. My dad tried to install the CD anti virus software but it didn't work so he bought Antivir Solution Pro but I can't help but be suspicious. Is it safe? OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, I have a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC x64-based with an AMD Turion(tm) II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile M620, 2500 MhZ, etc with Hewlett-Packard F.12 11/30/2009 , 500GB, 4 GB RAM and Boot Device is \Device\HarddiskVolume 1. I have had this laptop since August 22nd so it's been four days and it was purchased as refurbished (with a 90 day warranty) so I want to know if this issue is solvable or if it'll result in hardware failure. The programs/files I have downloaded in the past four days are Last.fm, Itunes, AVG Trial/Free Version 9.0, activated Norton Internet Safety, Power Iso, Winrar, a Nancy Drew Game, Ifran View, Foxit Reader and Google Chrome. I scanned my computer for rootkits (2 appeared in my Norton Internet Security program...? I don't know, but I got rid of them) and viruses using AVG about every day since I've purchased it and I've never had to force a reboot until the Disk Drive error showed up. I've often had to hold the on/off button during this frozen disk check screen once or twice until it let me hit the log-in screen. It says something like Checking file system on C: The type of the file system is NTFS. One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue. To skip disk checking, press any key within (#) seconds. Usually it freezes at 1 second and does nothing and it ignores any keys I press regardless. On one instance, after I removed AVG (in hopes it had the corrupted file) I took a picture of the monitor and it said: something open volume for direct access. something cannot run due to an error caused by a recently installed software. The system restore feature from the control panel to restore to a point prior to the corrupt software package installation. Error occurred (768f8c78something along these lines 3f1). I'm unsure where to go about this, my refurbished laptop didn't come with a Win 7 restore/repair CD, and I don't want to have to call Support unless none of you have any knowledge on this issue. My dad (who bought this as a gift) is weary of returning it so soon, assuming that I messed it up again. Help me out on how to fix it? I cannot run disk-checks/schedule them or do a system restore because it says Local Disk C:/ has a corrupt file. I tried to press F8 at startup and it didn't go into safe mode (?) but I might have pressed it at the wrong time of reboot I don't know. Help?

Im not an idiot, i know that heavy drinking causes FAS, but should moderate drinking really be forbidden? There was a time when water was not even safe to drink. So before sanitized water, in every western country the people could only drink wine and beer and that includes pregnant women and children. It says that the average American settler drank up to two gallons of beer per day.Same goes for countries like England (the UK or whatever) because I read a lot of British history, and back then anytime people from other countries were going to live in the UK, they would be forewarned to get accustomed to drinking wine/beer because the water was not safe to drink there either. Like Catherine of Spain when she married king Henry the 8th and many many other people. Im sure it wasn't safe in most of the world as well. So if drinking caused FAS then why is it that ALL those children back then were not born with FAS or mental retardation? My mom is a nurse and said that FAS was not even discovered until the 1980's, so before that nobody even suspected that they could not drink alcohol while pregnant. And there were not significantly high numbers of children born with FAS etc. She also say's that alcohol is processed through the liver FIRST, and anything that is left over goes to the placenta, so what is left over from a few beers could not possibly hurt a fetus. She says that FAS children are born to alcoholics who drink hard liquor on a regular basis. I know that you can find info on the internet that says otherwise, but those are 2nd hand stats from goggled websites. This concerns me because I have a friend who found out she was 3 months pregnant and she has been drinking beer on a regular basis. She didn't know she was pregnant because she got her full blown period every month on time (which is another thing that doctors etc say is not suppose to happen), and now she is getting an abortion because she is convinced that her child will come out harmed due to her drinking. Well i think its dangerous to tell women things like that because I don't believe its true due to the facts that i mentioned above. And now an innocent child is going to die because of wrong information when there is probably nothing even wrong with the baby. I think society scaremongers women into thinking that they will harm their child if they do all sorts of things. For example they say women shouldn't eat certain kinds of fish etc while pregnant. Well what about countries where all they eat is fish? Like a lot of Asian countries and some Island culture's like Jamaica etc? Those women's children turn out fine. We had an exchange student staying at our house over this last school year, and I still talk to her. She is from France and she says that in France women are told not to eat raw vegetables. Its ridiculous. Society scare;s women into thinking they have control over their child's health, (to a certain extent they do), but in reality, you have to be predisposed to a lot of mental defects is what I believe. Maybe I am just a kid, but don't you think its dangerous for unproven information like this to be spreading around? Like in the case of my friend. This wrong information is causing her to get an abortion. I placed an order for a laptop on the PC world website about 3 days ago. They took in all of my payment details, card number and all that, but I haven't since heard from them or received the order confirmation letter telling me when or how my order shall be delivered. I know for sure that my order has been placed since on my PC world account the order number came up - no other details though. But what's really freaking me out is that even though I have contacted them I have not had any feedback or reply regarding the issue. Maybe this is just normal, and its just my over-reaction - but £600 is a lot to risk over the internet, right? I just need some reassurance, have any of you experienced something like this before when sopping with PC world and is this how the whole process works? .. Or should I be concerned? :| I just don't know how I should be feeling about with the situation. Confused !!
