Answer: Sometimes people do pay more attention when a celebrity is accused of something dastardly.....and unfortunately for Townshend, it painted a downright disgusting picture of him for alot of people. Regardless of whether he was set up or not, you don't mess with the kiddies.....so I wouldn't think one would be too terribly concerned with set up theory anyway, and more concerned with the crime itself.
