PLEASE VISIT MY WEBSITE WWW.INTERNATIONALFIREARMSAFETY.COM A FREE GUN LOCK TO EVERY PERSON THAT ATTENDS A COURSE !! AND I AM THE ONLY INSTRUCTOR IN SOUTH FLORIDA THAT WILL TRAIN CHILDREN !! Learn to shoot or enhance your skills with training from a National Rifle Association Instructor who is certified in the disciplines of Basic Pistol Shooting, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection, Shotgun, Rifle, Reloading, and Refuse To Be A Victim programs. No previous firearm experience necessary. Multiple course options to select from for beginners through experienced shooters. Safety classes are available for families and children (must be accompanied by parent). International Firearm Safety, Inc., holds a business license for both Lee County and the City of Fort Myers, is incorporated in the State of Florida, and maintains both General Liability and Professional insurance. The owner, Alecs Dean, holds more licenses to carry concealed firearms than anyone else in the United States. Obtain your Concealed Carry Permit from Florida or 32 other states with courses individually tailored to meet the requirements of dozens of varying programs. Classes are taught by Alecs Dean, who is Certified as a Firearm Instructor by more states than anyone else in America. Mr. Dean has hundreds of hours of verifiable training (always ask to see your instructors' credentials). No maximum time limit on private classes - we provide the individual attention necessary for you to achieve a level of comfort - we don't rush you out the door the way unprofessional trainers do. ( Most classes do require a minimum time ). Firearms of multiple different calibers, and ammunition, are provided for you at no additional cost - you will receive training with both revolvers and semi-automatics, both single-action and double-action. Private, personalized, one-on-one training available. There are classes offered for ladies only, taught with a female assistant. All courses by appointment - with convenient and flexible scheduling. Ask about scheduling Mr. Dean to speak about child access prevention at your church, school, or special event. National Rifle Association certificates provided verifying successful completion of each level of training. Assistance is provided for filling out and filing Concealed Firearm Application forms. Fingerprint, Notary, and Passport Photograph service available. ALL my classes are scheduled on a first-come first scheduled private basis, so this enables me to schedule at YOUR convenience around YOUR schedule, not mine : evenings, weekends, days, anything convenient for you. My courses are in the Fort Myers area. There are many value added items in my course that are not found in others. For example, my course is BOTH a Florida State Pistol Safety Course ( for your Florida Concealed Carry Permit ), AND a National Rifle Association Course. You receive TWO certificates of training. The NRA Certificate is accepted in every state, and is the gold standard worldwide. Also, I have the lowest student-teacher ratio in the state. My maximum class size is four persons. This makes for a better learning atmosphere and comfort in asking questions. There is no time limit to my course. I am not simply trying to get you in and out in 2 hours. And you may contact me at any time after your training with any additional questions. I train you on eight different semi-automatics and revolvers of multiple calibers. There are several reasons for this : it is a ' Training ' course, not just a ' Shooting ' course. This is to your benefit. We will shoot a minimum of 8 different guns, both revolvers and semi-automatics, both single action and double action; and ranging in caliber from a .22, .380, .38 Special, .40, .45, and more. This helps you become familiar with the differences in firearms. Most don't allow this, and the ones that do charge additional for a ' rental ' of just one gun. I do not. It is a good way to use different firearms to see what you like before you spend $500-$1000. You are welcome to bring your own firearms also. I also do not do the gun show class of fire one shot and you are done. I will not give that class. You will fire a minimum of 25 rounds in my class - usually 50 or more. My credentials exceed every other instructor in the State of Florida : I am THE ONLY instructor in the State of Florida certified by Arizona, Tennessee, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Kansas, and New Mexico. I am one of only two instructors certified by Louisiana, North Dakota, Massachusetts, and Utah. As such I have had thousands of hours of training all over the country and most training was given by law enforcement. I am THE ONLY instructor IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES that is certified to give courses by 26 different states. Please ask me about the best combination of permits that will provide you with the most coverage in the greatest number of states. I have a business license in both Lee County, and the City of Fort Myers. I am fully insured and bonded. ( if you do not select me as an instructor, PLEASE verify the instructor you select is licensed and insured, and that he is giving you an actual NRA course, and not just some course he made up - you may possibly lose your CWP if he does ) I am incorporated in the State of Florida. I am the only instructor in all of South Florida that will train children. I ALSO PROVIDE A FREE GUN LOCK TO EACH ATTENDEE. Finally, I do not charge extra for additional services - I am a notary, and will notarize your application here. I will take your passport photos here ( this is usually $15 elsewhere ). For other states I will do your fingerprints. The other instructors simply give you the class and send you on your way. When you train with me we will fill out your paperwork together, so it is filed right the first time. There are just some things to consider when you are seeking an instructor. There are some good ones out there, but always ask to see their verifiable credentials. I am usually booked one month in advance, due to the fact that I am the only one that teaches so many different states and my small class size. Currently I am two weeks lead time on scheduling. I charge $125 for the Florida class, and $175 for any other state specific course, EVERYTHING INCLUDED. I also put together a combination one-day course for six state permits that get you concealed carry in 40 states for one low flat one-time fee - so you can do it all in one place all at once. Disclaimer : International Firearm Safety, Inc., and Alecs Dean are not attorneys, and nothing said in classroom or correspondence should be construed as legal advice. MetropolisA legendarily ambitious film from the moment it was first released in Germany in 1927, Metropolis has since secured a reputation as one of the most visionary films in cinema history. But this sci-fi epic of a nightmarish future where workers are grist for a maniacal industrialist's smoke-belching machinery has been edited down and hacked apart since its premiere screening. Even the definitive restoration in 2002 was missing substantial footage (thought to be lost) and, for all its glories, didn't do full justice to the magnificence of Lang's vision. Then in 2008, the Museo del Cine in Buenos Aires found a 16mm print of Metropolis that had been in Argentine private collections since 1928. That astounding version contained 25 minutes of missing footage and virtually matched up with the shooting script and original orchestral score for the film. Based on the 2002 restoration but with the lost footage inserted, this new, complete version (which uses the original score as its soundtrack), lets you experience Lang's spectacular Metropolis as close to his original intent as has been possible for 80 years. Shouldn't Ohio worry about jobs rather than Lebron James?
Cleveland is 2nd only to Detroit as a post-industrial wasteland. Your state is broke. Jobs left for China and are not coming back. Aren't your priorities a little out of whack that you can be so concerned about an athlete who is good at shooting hoops?
Answer: Bread and circuses. Just like in ancient Rome you are encouraged to think this is important. It keeps the sheep content.

1 A farmer who's been involved in a terrible road accident with a large truck ended up in court fighting for a big compensation claim. "I understand you're claiming damages for the injuries you're supposed to have suffered?" Stated the counsel for the insurance company. "Yes, that's right," replied the farmer, nodding his head. "You claim you were injured in the accident, yet I have a signed police statement that says that when the attending police officer asked you how you were feeling, you replied, 'I've never felt better inn my life.' Is that the case?" "Yeah, but" stammered the farmer. "A simple yes or not will suffice," counsel interrupted quickly. "Yes," Replied the farmer. Then it was the turn of the farmer's counsel to ask him questions. "Please tell the court the exact circumstance of events following the accident when you made your statement of health," his lawyer said. "Certainly," replied the farmer. "After the accident my horse was thrashing around with a broken leg and my poor old dog was howling in pain. This cop comes along, takes one look at my horse and shoots him dead. "Then he goes over to my dog, looks at him and shoots him dead too. Then he come straight over to me and asked me how I was feeling. "Now, mate, what the heck would you have said to him?" 2 A policeman had a perfect spot to watch for speeders, but was not getting many. Then, he discovered the problem; a 10 year old boy was standing up the road with a hand painted sign which read, "SPEED TRAP AHEAD". The officer then found a young accomplice down the road with a sign painted "TIPS" and a bucket of change. 3 The drunken wino was stumbling down the street with one foot on the curb and one foot in the gutter. A cop pulled up and said, "I've got to take you in, sir. You're obviously drunk" The wasted wino asked, "Ociffer, are ya absolutely sure I'm drunk?" "Yeah, buddy, I'm sure," said the copper. "Let's go." Obviously relieved, the wino said "That's a relief - I thought I was a cripple." 4 A middle aged woman was driving through a school zone when a policeman pulled her over for speeding. As he was giving her the ticket, she said, "How come I always get a ticket and everyone else gets a warning? Is it my face?" "No, ma'am," explained the officer, "it's your foot." 5 During a flood in a small Ohio town, a young girl was perched on top of a house with a little boy. As they sat watching articles float along with the water, they noticed a baseball cap float by. Suddenly, the cap turned and came back, then turned around and went downstream. After it had gone some distance, it turned again and came back. "Do you see that baseball cap?" said the girl. "First it goes downstream, then turns around and comes back." "Oh, that's my dad," replied the boy. "This morning he said that come hell or high water, he was going to cut the grass today." 6 "Dad," said Rickey, "what is electricity?" "Uh," replied his father, "I don't really know too much about electricity." A few minutes later the boy said, "How does gas make the engine go?" "Son, I'm afraid I don't know much about motors." "Dad," said the boy, "what is anthropology?" "Anthropology?" The father frowned. "I really don't know." "Gee, Dad, I guess I'm making a nuisance of myself." "Not at all, son. If you don't ask questions, you'll never learn anything." "Son, you sure do ask a lot of questions," said the father. "I'd like to know what would have happened if I'd asked as many questions when I was a boy." "Perhaps," said the boy, "you'd've been able to answer some of mine."

Did we get video of a ghost?
Friday night, my friends and I went on a ghost hunt, at the Historic Ohio State Reformatory (a.k.a. Mansfield Prison). I was shooting video all night long, on and off. There are some spots that the camera was moved to fast, and the shot gets blurry. BUT, there are also some times that the camera was being held completely stationary, and a blurry bit will pass through the field of vision. It was in a room where my best friend, who is a medium, sensed a presence. I am wondering if anyone knows if those blurry fuzzy spots are ghosts walking around us. Also, while making contact with a ghost that we have EVP recordings of, the videotape picked up some rather nasty static-y patches, when I am pretyy sure that the ghost was near us, even though I was not actively trying to shoot footage of her. Do ghosts show up as static on videotapes? I know that ghosts are supposed to generate an electromagnetic field. We don't much care if anyone feels that it is proof, so much as wanting to know if it really captured the presence of the ghost. The audio recordings very much included some very clear evidence of activity. But, it would be kinda cool to match the video to it. It isn't so much a tale as a genuine request for information. I'm not some hard-core paranormal researcher. I've not seen what a ghost does to videotape. So, it isn't that I am claiming to HAVE video of a ghost...I want to know if I have flawed recording. The dust thing, I get. We had plenty of that. But, there were a few times that the shooting conditions were stable, but things went blurry anyway. Hard to explain. Maybe I'll add some video clips to a different question, later. I need to buy a cable to hook the camcorder to my computer first.
Answer: Quote:," Did We get a video of a ghost?" It is impossible to say without seeing the video. Dr Nice Guy points out that usually after a question like this the video is not posted.. Videos and photos can be deceiving especially to those who are not experts in all errors that can happen while filming and photographing. Some researchers have stopped even trying for video and pictures and have focused mainly on EVP. They do this because of how unreliable videos and photos can be.The following link has many free articles you can read, just scroll down to their free article section and some may be of help. Also these people are known to analyze photos for individuals and give their professional opinion. You can write them and see if they are willing to analyze your video. http://www.ghostweb.com/
Is it bad that I hate PETA and its members?
Im 13 my father,my grandfather, my uncles,my cousins, and myself all hunt. Hunting is not just for sport it is a time when i can get some father son time.We eat what we shoot.Ive gotten 3 deer and ive eaten all of the meat. Why does PETA want to ban hunting?? DO they want 6 marine snipers to kill 500 deer and then throw away all the meat? THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN OTTAWA HILLS IN OHIO.the state of Ohio said that since there was NO HUNTING in Ottawa hills bringing in snipers was necessary in order to keep the population under control.
Answer: I know what you mean. I feel hate towards them sometimes as well. PETA not only wants to ban hunting, but also fishing, circuses, zoos, even seeing eye dogs. They want complete animal liberation. Most of their members do not know all that but if they take the time to read PETA's agenda that is exactly what they want to do. They will not be successful ever because, WE ARE THE ONES WITH THE GUNS, and they know this.
Ohio Open Carry Vehicle Transport?
In the state of Ohio, the state government recognizes your right for open carry of a firearm without a permit. Restriction laws such as schools, government buildings, banks, bars, etc.. must still be obeyed. When you are in a vehicle however your weapon is "concealed"... when you are in a vehicle what do you do with your firearm.. do you transport it as if you were going to the shooting range (ammo and gun separate)? If you have a truck you dont have a "trunk"... where is the recommend place to store a firearm? can i have the gun with the slide locked back in the glove box and ammo in a mag in my driver side door panel so if a situation were to occur... all i would have to do is insert the mag and release the slide lock? im in the process of getting my ccw but I work 80 plus hours a week and the neighborhood is getting bad fast.. i will eventually get my ccw but in the mean time i would like to exercise my right to open carry... thanks
Answer: Well, This is what I found: It is unlawful for a person not issued a concealed handgun license or a temporary emergency license to have a firearm in a motor vehicle unless it is unloaded and carried in one of the following ways: • In a closed case, box, or package. • Secured in a rack in plain sight. • In plain sight, with the action open or the weapon stripped, or if the firearm’s action will not stay open or it cannot be easily stripped, in plain sight. • In a compartment that can be reached only by leaving the vehicle. So, If your gun is a semi auto, you could lock the slide back, lay it on the passenger seat, put the magazine in your pocket, and you should be legal
Private Sale Transfer Question for when i go shopping for a Glock in Ohio?
At almost 28, i want to buy a Glock, just to have one for Defense and -MAYBE- take to Rnage, to learn to Shoot (You can THINK you know how to shoot having watched Police shows on TV that try to be "Realistic" and Instructional Videos and the NRA and all, but in the end, the only time i MAY Discharge the Weapon, aside from really really bad Robbery or break-in, is at the Range. Better to have and not Need...) Now, i am a Resident of Ohio, i knwo the site to check that says "FFL yes or No" - Anythign that says "No" is Game, as i have my Ohio ID and im over 21. After that, its pretty sure its "Show ID, ask if you are a Felon, and Cash and Carry" and thats it! .. Yes? Just confirming, and this is probably OUTSIDE the limits of the Cities of Cleveland, Cincinnati, or Columbus.. Thanks! (Oh yeah.. would be "FTF" or "Face-To-Face" Cash-and-carry Deal, so unless the "Seller" decides to Rob me with His gun instead of Sale-ing it to me, im just doublechecing all should be well..) Thanks. (I.D. Proves State of Residence, as per the Law. Thsi i know.. ive been doing some reading. Now its time to quickly check with the Experts, that support 2nd Amendment like myself, as Responsible Citizens.)
Answer: If this is a face to face private transaction as you said it is there is not a need to have a transfer done through a dealer or to notify anyone. It would be like selling any other peice of property that doesn't have a deed or something like that to it. Ohio does not have a permit system either so all you need is money. The seller may make up a bill of sale for his own records which you will have to sign.
