Shopping! The Musical 2010 DATESShopping! The Musical is San Francisco's longest-running original show, now in its 5th smash-hit year at The Shelton Theater. This is a hilarious, fast-paced revue of original songs and sketches about shopping, skewering everything from the stores, the customers and the salespeople to the very different shopping habits and styles of men and women. It won the Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for best script of an original musical. One critic has cited the material as "worthy of Saturday Night Live."The dynamite cast delivers with just the right mix of sarcasm and enthusiasm.Audiences and critics alike are singing the praises of the show. Here are a few words from the critics:"A CARTFUL OF LAUGHTER!" -San Francisco Chronicle"INFECTIOUS, IRREVENT HUMOR! A clever collection of tunes - songs that bring to mind Jerry Seinfeld's sharp observations on mundane modern life". -SF Weekly"HILARIOUS! SIDE-SPLITTING! CLEVER AND SPARKLING!Performed by four very talented singers who know how to put a song over. Shopping! The Musical reminds me of those wonderful little revues that used to occur down in the Village in New York or the great Billy Barnes shows in Los Angeles. Bobrow knows how to present the lost art of a musical revue. His songs remind me of musical satirist Tom Lehrer. EVERYONE WHO SEES THE REVUE WILL IDENTIFY WITH SOME ASPECT OF SHOPPING." -Talkin' Broadway"Shopping for frothy fun? Here's a musical for you! Bobrow has picked an excellent cast to deliver the message. They handle Bobrow's slyly funny lyrics well and exude personalities that are immediately likeable. THE MORE YOU SHOP, THE MORE YOU WILL ENJOY SHOPPING!" -Contra Costa Times"Shopping! The Musical is the perfect pastiche for the out-of-towner and resident after a long day Union Square. Bobrow utilizes words in a truly amazing way, combining internal and external concepts about reality in a way that amuses, cajoles, and yes, often astounds. SHOPPING! THE MUSICAL IS GREAT!" -San Francisco Bay TimesOf the show's writer, The San Francisco Chronicle has written, "There is no more polished master of the original musical revue than Bobrow." Hollywood Drama-Logue described Bobrow as "one of the wittiest and classiest songwriters around." For more information about Bobrow, visit www.Bobrowproductions.com. Jerry Seinfeld questions & answers
I'm not talking about editing stuff (though those CAN be annoying...just watch the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry's eating the black-and-white cookie. The colors keep switching back and forth!). I'm talking more about the writers completly forgetting (or ignoring) stuff from earlier episodes. Basically, the 'disappearing relative' thing. I was watching a later King of Queens, and Carrie finally visits her mother's grave. It reads 'mother of Simone' (which was actually Carrie's real name, thus the plot of the epsiode)... but, Carrie had a sister! In the first few episodes, she played a big part, in fact. But, by this point, not only had she been written out of the show, she was, apparently, erased from her mother's tombstone! Any other stuff YOU'VE noticed from television?

It's the best ....the best Jerry the best!!! Earl your right the last one was awful I thought that was the only one. ...^... I bought the full set too but got it online around that price too. I have watched them all. I know dialog to the shows. I can hear a line like, "you know you aren't chinese" and I know the show. LOL I will laugh every time I see a show even if I've seen it a dozen times. George was my favorite!!
Answer: What the swordfish from Mendy's? I'll get the salmon. Seriously though Seinfeld is one of the quintessential shows of the 90's. Not to mention the fact that it has influenced my lexicon of witty responses. My personal motto is taken right from the immortal words of George. "It's not a lie...if you believe it."

Answer: George Costanza's Answering Machine: Believe it or not, George isn’t at home. Please leave a message at the beep. I must be out, or I’d pick up the phone. Where could I be? Believe it or not, I’m not home! Awesome. The video is even better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caoYdiq3kak I love Seinfeld. --Lucien Briscoe EDIT: Haha! I totally forgot about George's attempt at the movie line! [leaning over the counter in Jerry's apartment] "These pretzels... are MAKING ME THIRSTY!" When he yelled it out of the car, it was almost just as good. Haha. Absolute genius. How one show could possibly have so many hilariously awesome lines is beyond me!
I kind of forgot her name... How can I find out what it is?
OK quick back story me & this girl have been getting along well but I kind of forgot her name. We're only ever alone together so there's no need for me to say it so this helps me out a little. She's in my phone under "a" simply because that was the easiest button to press at the time! We've been talking lots for about 2-3 weeks so too long to just ask her her name straight up because I'll just sound like a pretentious prick! I've seen this on Seinfeld but all Jerry did was rummage through her handbag and get caught, KIND OF don't want that to happen... Wtf am I meant to do?
Answer: Just be like "Silly question but how do you spell your name?" Hopefull it something like Kelsey so you could make an excuse of like "Oh i thought it was K-e-l-c-e-y and not with an S" and you could totally play it off. Best of luck!!!
