Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America 20th Annual International Event "Vive la Mosaic ~ 20 Years of Awe!� Labor Day Weekend, 2010 When: Labor Day Weekend, Thursday, September 2 to Monday, September 6, 2010 What: Once a year, members of all Mosaic Outdoor Clubs, and other Jewish adventurers from around the world come together to celebrate the outdoors, to see old friends, to meet new friends, and to learn new wilderness and leadership skills. All while having one of the most fun-filled adventure weekends you can imagine! Daytime activities include hiking, biking, climbing, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, sports, and much more. The nights will be filled with socializing, ice breakers, creative Shabbat celebrations, dancing, and other entertainment. While this is not a singles events, there have been many, many marriages to have come out of people meeting at Mosaic events; an inevitability when like-minded Jews get together for a long weekend. We will be staying at the Y Country Camp, one of the premier Jewish summer camps in Canada, and have secured the entire camp and all its facilities. The camp is strictly kosher, and the food is top notch. They have prepared an incredible menu just for us! Accommodations are usually four to six people in a cabin, with singles and doubles upgrades available. Fly into Montreal on Thursday, and get on the bus for camp, or come early, and explore Montreal with other people going to the event. This is the ideal time to visit Montreal and the Laurentian Mountains. Usually about 25 people attend from South Florida! It's pretty clear that the government has become the problem. What should be done? I would say, it's pretty evident that spending needs to be cut and drastically. Start will all the expansion of government over the past 2 years. Fire them Reform the tax code, simplify it, flat tax Abolish the IRS and Dept of Education, which will save billions annually Repeal the healthcare law Return the remaining stimulus money Government "IS" the problem. of this, there is no doubt. That only means the way they have been acting and operating. Not that "Government" in general is a problem. This one is just way too bloated and out of control. The government greed is enormous

Answer: 1) Vote out the dems AND Rhino Republicans. 2) Pass a "term limits bill" for ALL government and judicial offices (this means ALL branches). I think 8 years is more than enough time for any government office and/or judicial office. 3) We as americans need to start learning more about our state representatives instead of waiting for campaign ads to tell us about them. 4) I agree 100% with the flat tax proposal. What should the rate be? I don't know but it has never been done before and I truly think it would breathe new life into our economy as entreprenuers will be free to reinvest in the growth of their companies which means more jobs, more products and services at reduced costs and more incentive to push the envelope of ingenuity. 5) Begin the process of grandfathering social security gradually so that more americans (now that they are paying far less taxes based on item #4 and able to save for their retirement themselves) can invest in their own retirement based on their own personal standard of living goals. 6) Reinstating and re-enforcing our federal immigration laws. Stop suing states for enforcing federal laws that the government has failed/refused to do. 7) Strengthen our military once again. 8) Start relying on ourselves "We the people" rather than the government (socialism). 9) Americans need to start "pursuing happiness" again and this can only happen when we are FREE to do so. This means SMALLER government NOT bigger government. 10) Restore the constitution as it was intended by our forefathers. Stop trying to reinterpret its meaning. Interpret the constitution with common sense NOT with personal agendas. 11) Honor freedom OF religion NOT "FROM" religion. 12) Stop trying to be like the rest of the world. U.S. Dept of labor says 236 million are available to work in USA. Plus another 74 million are NOT available to work for total of 310 Million. 2009 IRS filings for business & individuals total around 140 million. 236-140=94million "not accounted for in the 2009 tax system". So how many of approximate 94 million are income-less in poverty? Say 30 million are not filing quarterlies, illegally operating a small business,that still leaves 64 million. And the media has been cramming 10% in your brains how long now? How many legal immigrant citizen-ships have been granted the past 35 years in USA Huh? This goes into deeper issues one being the Federal govt isn't concerning themselves with Tax base revenues cause they aren't even there to get etc. Yet the Federal govt is coming up with billions & trillions to spend all over the world. So this girl came up to my door and was like she is doing a fund raiser for her school and showed me this laminated drivers license. She gave me a catalog and asked if she could come in. I let her in and we started talking about the fund raiser. She brought out one of this things that you sign when making like a house payment or something and asked for my name, address, phone number and one of my roommates name. She said the magazines were 75 cents and stupidly enough, i said that was a good deal. She asked to me sign the bottom part of the paper and i just kind of scribbled a fake signature. She then changed it and was like the total is 66 dollars, instead of 75 cents. So i told her i didn't want it anymore and she kept trying to persuade me but i refused. She then got angry and left. She took the paper with her but now i am worried that she might call IRS or something. The signature on there is fake and so is the first name. The last name i put and the name of my roommate is correct. So can she sue me or anything, even though she has a fake signature and first name. I am scared that i may have really just screwed my self.

I have been living abroad for just 5 years, and while my U.S. tax returns have been uncomplicated to date, I would like to have a resource available (ideally a book) to reference U.S. tax questions for expats. The IRS does have good guides to their forms, but non of them consider options if you are not married to a U.S. citizen. If there is nothing available, then I may have to make myself a bit of an expert!

Answer: If you agreed to accept dog poop instead of a paycheck, yes it would be income although valuing it could be a little tricky. But for example, something of value you get through barter is income.

Answer: For most of them im just going to guess lack of eduacation. Im just going to assume they have other people to do their taxes and that they hire shady or encompetent people to help them. They may be taken advantage of or just not care, living life and forgetting that everyday things like that still apply to them.
