...also known to the Sumerian as Nibiru, to Zecharia Sitchin as the 12th Planet, and to some Astronomers as Planet X (for Unknown) ? "Cha 110913-773444 (sometimes abbreviated Cha 110913) is an astronomical object surrounded by what appears to be a protoplanetary disk. There is no consensus yet among astronomers whether to classify the object as a Sub-brown dwarf (with planets) or a rogue planet (with moons). It is even smaller than OTS 44 which had been the smallest known brown dwarf prior to the discovery of Cha 110913-773444." "Cha 110913-773444 was discovered by Kevin Luhman and others at Pennsylvania State University using the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as two earthbound telescopes in Chile." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cha_110913-773444 Planet X facts 5/21/08 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvU6wG551Is&feature=related "lindajune": Actually, I Didn't catch all the technical stuff, on the side, until after I posted the question. Even then, I failed to even look at the distance. I'm glad some people are still awake. "KoioV": I am a true believer in that "There is no question that is stupid, except the one not asked". Anyone who attempts to stop others from asking questions, does not have their best interests in mind, but rather his own agenda. I did make some mistakes in asking this question, but hey, that's life; I see no need to try to hide them. It makes me feel human.
Answer: No. Cha 110913-773444 is 163 light years away from the Sun, way too far to be in orbit around the Sun. It would also be impossible for it to travel 163 light years in the next 4 years to match the Nibiru "prophesy," since that would require it to travel 40 times the speed of light!
Chandrayaan (India's moon mission) and the verification?
Though I have no doubt, but I was wondering is there any independent verification that the India's Chandrayaan is really on its course to the moon. I happen to see the " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Moon_Landing_hoax_accusations " and it says "the Soviets did not have the capability to track deep spacecraft until late in 1972, immediately after which, the last three Apollo missions were abruptly canceled." and "The Hubble Space Telescope can only see objects on the Moon as small as 60 meters across." . So can a Earth-based telescope see this satelite of India's first mission to the moon ? I have full believe that we have been on the moon, my question relate to the moon mission of India and I am asking "will India be subject to accusation that it was their faked attempt?" So what third party (or say independent ) verification that we are going to get that the Mission by India is really a success.
Answer: Chandrayaan mission is very much different from other missions in the world. 1) Unlike Apollo / other missions, the data collected by this mission will be shared across lot of scientists in the world. 2) Lot of foreign scientists are working along with Indian scientists to get information from Chandrayaan, hence any mistake in the mission could not be hidden. In fact when ISRO declared the success all the scientists supported it. 3) NASA has congratulated ISRO on its achievement. NASA would not do it unless it confirms the facts and figures. LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST 4) Chandrayaan is going to create a 3D map of moon for next 2 years. This map will be used by all the scientists across the world. Now you cannot fake something for 2 years to all intelligent scientists of the world:-)
religiously speaking... "Big Bang Confirmed"?
yep! almost 2 decades ago! where ya been? "big bang confirmed" http://www.pbs.org/deepspace/timeline/tl24.html check these cool pics => http://whyfiles.org/siegfried/story30/ background radiation (created long ago) gave the Hubble telescope a very good series of spectralgraphs of the universe expanding from a small point check it out at the NASA site http://map.gsfc.nasa.gov/universe/bb_tests_cmb.html or http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/2814947.stm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_microwave_background_radiation want more pictures? from google, select "images" then enter "big bang" or "big bang background radiation" in the seach box sorry, i know it looks like a spam... i was directing this at some anti-science people from an earler question ;-) LOSTNSAVD: "Where did the "radiation" come from?" from the Big Bang O_o pay attention DEEJAY: sorry, but NASA has more credentials than you.... plus PHOTOS. Do you have photos of adam and eve? PAUL: youre getting science info from a religion website? (sigh)
Answer: The Big Bang means nothing more than the universe expanding. I love how non-scientist Christians are offended by the idea of the Big Bang... when in fact its the BEST scientific discovery to date that supports their position.
