Educational Games questions & answers
There is this game on disney.com that is Clubpenguin. You are a penguin and you have to be a member in order to buy clothes at the Gift Shop. Anyway, some penguins have been saying instead of stopping Clubpenguin Disney is going to make Clubpenguin Educational. Is that true? Please answer my question. Thank You. :)
Answer: ye telulu
What is this game called?
I used to play in elementary school. It has a fox and there's a bunch of arcade games and you play them level by level. Its not really educational but sorta in a way? Some games include making the fox swing from vine to vine picking up books along the way. The last game is one where you cant let the bubble touch the ground. I think there's one where you jump over barrels. If you know what the website is please let me know.
Answer: Erm.. not quite sure why you want to go play a game for an Elementary school kid.. but it's unlikely that the website is still around.
Any good gaming notebooks that don't look completely ridiculous?
I'm going to be heading off to college soon and the laptop I previously had bit the dust. Because the laptop needs to last several years, I'd like one that encompasses my educational commitments and recreational interests (music, video games, movies, etc.). I would love a laptop that can fluidly play games like Mass Effect 1 and 2 fluidly (they don't need to have "ULTRA REALISTIC MUSCLE SHADOWING!!", but I would at least like them to look decent an run smoothly). I would also like a screen size around the 15" mark, if possible. One of the laptops I've really been looking at is the Toshiba P500 Satellite. I know the screen is 18", but I've read several reviews that say it is good for a desktop replacement at college. On Toshiba's website, there is the option to cusomize the P500 with a "NVIDIA® GeForce GT 330M with 1GB GDDR3 discrete graphics card". Is this a good graphics card to play games with? I was also going to go ahead and get the i7 Processor as well. Do you have any other, possibly better, suggestions? The biggest thing I want to steer away from, though, is a notebook that looks completely ridiculous in a classroom or dormitory setting. None stupid paint jobs or dumb chassis designs most gaming notebooks have. I know these are a lot of questions, and I appreciate your answers!

I want to expand my education?
Okay, so I want to be more intelligent. I am 12. I want to become smarter, as in more intelligent for the average 12 year old. I want to be an excellent speller, have an advanced vocabulary, proper grammar e.g punctuations and such and just seem like a really smart kid. I sought sites for spelling and such but I was unable to find one that was ideal for what I am searching for. Many of the games or " educational doo das" were just, plain and not complicated enough, if that makes sense. I have already subscribed to a daily word, every day I will receive and E mail with an uncommon word, it's definition and origin. I just am having trouble finding websites that suit me. Can anyone recommend some sites? it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Answer: The BEST thing you can do to increase your general knowledge is to read. It seems like you're especially concerned about your use of language (you mention vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation) - and reading will help you with this too. I suggest you try reading from a wide variety of genres and authors. Read lots of non-fiction on a variety of subjects to increase your cultural literacy and general knowledge. Challenge yourself by setting a goal to read 150 or 200 pages of independent reading each week. There is no website or computer program that can expand your education as much as your library. The American Library Association publishes a recommended reading list for college-bound students - that would be a good starting point. www.ala.org/yalsa/booklists/obcb.
best Nintendo DS educational games?
can these games help with a little attention to the games a day?
Answer: Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, or any of the sequels.
Why do democrats work to divide people into polarized interest groups & it seems, get us to fearing each other?
Every group that tries to push an idea that others are keeping them down based on race or gender seem to be democrat ... yet they don't advocate for the race or gender evenly, only as it applies to a pretext to bash Republicans. If a black republican is beaten up by white SEIU thugs and called racist names like the N word in this case, told racist things like get back behind the fence with the rest of your kind, assaulted, badly battered and put in the hospital and the local democrat dominated government is Saint Lewis tries to just brush it under the rug, does the NAACP say a thing about it? Stand up for the black man and demand justice? The Black Panthers? NO! They play some game trying to tell the Tea Party, that this black man is a member of to acknowledge that they have a lot of racists in their party so it's racist (they didn't say it like that, but that's the disingenuous game they play to get something they can use for propaganda). The whole race thing as it relates to big politics is all about a pretext, a means to get money & polarize voters for the benefit of the party and those who the party makes rich for their help. It obviously has NOTHING to do with the Pretext used. In fact these organizations hurt those they are supposed to support and are paid to keep them in line and voting that way. The progressives started the KKK to polarize whites against black people. They control the NAACP & the Black Panthers to do the same type of polarizing Blacks against white people using nearly exactly the same kind of lies & propaganda to do it, co-opting churches to do it just like the stinking Klan did. Acting like they cared about people, doing day care and helping some people financially to gain support ... hell, the Nazi's did that too, the KKK did it, the Panthers ... all those progressive groups made a show of charity, but it was all about gaining support for groups that would help them gain political power & so financial power through wealth generated from the political leverage they gained. It's not just black groups, the democrats also support LaRasa (translated = the race) the Mexican equivalent of the KKK. LaRasa moto & mission statement: For the race, EVERYTHING. For all others, NOTHING The democrats support breaking all immigration laws, though that is damaging to any country. No country in the world has a large political group so craven that they would compromise border security for votes. Only in the USA, the democrats, the ones who also work to divide the people and get them at odds with each other which helps no one but would be political despots. The people who think they are being helped by such groups, are not. They are just being baited into supporting groups who don't give a damn about anything but gaining wealth & power, and once they get it they have a near perfect history of screwing over those who got them into power. Don't we need to start pushing some truth into education for these people? Take some good effort to show them what is really going on & how it's affected the groups victimized by this "help" and "advocacy"? Reverse the revisionist history that's being taught our children & college kids to brain wash them? Teach them the truth, only the truth? I know it seems there are only versions of reality, but that's just another lie generate to create a smoke screen. There are events, there are things done by people, and the truth of it all should be taught, no just what supports the agenda of big Globalists money who've bought our news media, entertainment, our colleges, and worked it's way into our K-12 educational system. Our people should not be treated like sheep, live stock for the powerful in the world. They should be well informed, masters of their own destiny, free to do what they wish & can if it doesn't inequitably infringe on the rights of others. For those of you would like to shut down any information you don't agree with and so like to deny a questions right to exist, and so call it a rant ... Please read the Yahoo information for inputting a question. The head line is the question. The lower section is not a question, it is SUPPORTING INFORMATION. Joe, you ass ume to much. I am not a republican, and I have never liked McCain at all. McCain is a scum bag who will do anything for his own benefit, which he puts first, the good of the people LAST. I wanted Obama to win, because it's better people feel the pain to the point they do something about it than slow mushy death of the sort scum like McCain would bring. gitrdone ... the KKK hate Republicans, hate Lincoln, and are still democrats ... and you don't know why do you? lol ... You are talking about the face of the KKK, the little members, when what is behind the KKK is Progs, Pushed & funded by Globalists (Globs). The pretext was hate for the black man, the intermediate goal was slavery for a group, the long term Goal IS SLAVERY FOR EVERYONE BUT A SMALL GROUP OF OLIGARCHS. THAT MEANS YOU UNION DUPED BOY. You fight for those who would enslave you in a system of serfdom that would give you no meaningful freedoms at all
Answer: That's true, every BS polarizing victim creating group you ever see are prog generated. The real reform like equal rights, freedom for slaves, is Republican. Can't deny that one.
He's into TV shows that I'm not...a problem? What's a nice way to tell him?
My boyfriend likes watching all sorts of TV shows that have no thought or meaning to them - mostly the ones you don't have to think about ('America's Got Talent" "Dancing with The Stars" and game shows like "Let's Make A Deal" - not the ones you have to really THINK about). However, I'm into watching the cooking shows and educational stuff on the Discovery Channel, which I've learned a lot from (not to mention I've cooked him dishes that I learned how to make on the Food Network, so it's usefull) He talks about the shows and tells me to turn them on when we're on the phone. He;s like "wow - isn't this an awesome show!!!" and he's really into it...I find it boring and mind numbing for some reason. How can I tell him nicely that these shows are NOT for thinkers - they're just entertainment for the moment. He doesn't enjoy watching my shows - he gets bored of THEM... What's the best way to say "Dude, I don't want to watch that show - it's got NO substance!!!"
Answer: If you are really into this guy, then you have to be a bit more flexible, he wants to share this experience with you, and you want to throw a wet towel on it. This is all about being together as a couple, but keeping your individuality.
Do today's youth consider educational games rather than usual video games?
I think since many people find math boring it can be more interesting with a math game, such as this: http://linkb.com/F1QSA All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. School was always boring for me. I'm glad to be out of it.
Answer: Ha, no. The only people who buy educational video games are misinformed mothers. However, that isn't to say that people don't learn from videogames. It's just a little more subtle.
