Bill Bellamy (special event)***SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT*** Staying busy is not a problem for Bill Bellamy, whose flourishing career encompasses the worlds of feature film, television, comedy and more. His career is on the rise, yet his feet remain firmly planted on the ground. He recently completed filming the urban comedy "The Lottery Ticket" with Bow Wow, Ice Cube and Brandon T. Jackson. Directed by Erik White, the story revolves around a young man living in the projects who wins $370 million in the lottery. He must survive a three-day holiday weekend after his opportunistic neighbors discover he still has the winning ticket in his possession. Over the last decade Bellamy has been a staple in the world of comedy, performing hundreds of shows to sold-out audiences across the country. For the past four seasons, Bill has brought his humor and comedic expertise to his role as host of the hit TV One network series, "Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes?" which premiered its new season from the Las Vegas Strip last October. Also serving as executive producer, Bellamy and team search the nation for the hottest rising comics who will compete to be crowned "Jokes" champion. The unique twist is that the comics must keep it clean or be docked points for swearing and raunchiness. In addition, Bellamy hosted NBC's comedy competition series "Last Comic Standing" for two seasons and headlined the 2006 season of "Def Comedy Jam" on HBO. In 2005, he released his debut comedy DVD "Bill Bellamy: Back To My Roots" from UrbanWorks Entertainment's prestigious Platinum Comedy Series. The DVD showcases Bill's unique brand of "in your face" comedy with his hilarious perspective on dating, politics and the overall state of America. The DVD aired as a one-hour special on Comedy Central. In the 2002 -2003 television season, Bill starred in the FOX series "Fastlane" from director McG. The one-hour drama follows two cops, Bellamy as Deaqon Hayes and Peter Facinelli as Van Ray, as they go undercover to take down the highest (and lowest) criminals in Los Angeles. In 2001, he starred in the WB sitcom "Men, Women & Dogs" as one of four twenty-something male friends whose lives center around their girlfriends, their careers and their dogs, but not necessarily in that order. In 2008, Bellamy starred in the TBS original movie "Getting Played" opposite Vivica A. Fox, Carmen Electra and Stacey Dash. The romantic comedy revolves around three beautiful women who make a game of trying to seduce a random male target played by Bellamy. Bellamy made his feature film debut in the spring of 1997, opposite Nia Long and Larenz Tate in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy "Love Jones" for New Line Cinema. He successfully followed that with his leading man debut in the hit comedy, Def Jam's "How To Be A Player" for Gramercy Pictures and starred in the independent feature "Love Stinks" opposite French Stewart, Bridgette Wilson and Tyra Banks. Bellamy's other film credits include co-starring in Oliver Stone's highly lauded film "Any Given Sunday," a graphic depiction of the behind-the-scenes politics and antics of an NFL team. Bellamy portrayed superstar wide receiver Jimmy Sanderson in an ensemble cast that included Al Pacino, James Woods, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx and Dennis Quaid. In 2001, he co-starred in the Screen Gems comedy hit "The Brothers" opposite D.L. Hughley, Shemar Moore and Morris Chestnut. The film followed three black professionals as they faced the imminent marriage of a longtime friend and reformed playboy. He also co-starred in the independent film "Neverwas" opposite Jessica Lange, William Hurt, Aaron Eckhart, Ian McKellen and Brittany Murphy. Bellamy also starred as Skeeter in Nickelodeon's hit action-comedy series "Cousin Skeeter." He was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his outstanding performance on the show. For five years Bill had the unique opportunity to host MTV JAMS where he was able to cleverly blend an eclectic mix of street culture, locker room observations and a myriad of experiences placing Bill well ahead of the new generation of funny men. It was the combination of Bill's professionalism, style and charismatic personality which scored him top interviews with some of the hottest talent in town. Bill's universal appeal has landed him duties as a national celebrity spokesperson for both AT&T and Pepsi and, in 1998, he appeared opposite Shaquille O'Neal in a national Reebok television commercial campaign. His numerous television appearances include "The Tonight Show," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Regis & Kelly," "Today," "Entertainment Tonight," "Chelsea Lately," "Carson Daly," "Wendy Williams" and "Joy Behar." The eldest of three children, Bill used his real life experiences growing up in Newark, New Jersey as stepping-stones to his comedy, stating "The things I talk about in my comedy are my experiences. I just do what I know." PLEASE NOTE: All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please be certain of the date and time of show before purchase. Brittany Murphy questions & answers
I've been living here for years there has always been a strange elusive smell here...it smells like "Chili Con Carne" haha REALLY it does smell kind of like that! There is a fish and chip take away near me...but I don't think the smell is coming from there....do you think it might be mould under my floorboards or something!? I've just read a story speculating that Brittany Murphy and her husband both died of pneumonia, perhaps caused by mould in their home! :-O Thanx for answers in advance! :-) I'm so opening a window!
Answer: Do you live in a single-family house or an apartment complex? The smell may not be coming from your unit at all. Perhaps its what one of your neighbors is doing/cooking. Given your particular situation, call either the building manager and/or local environmental health department. It doesn't sound like mould, but there are different kinds. Most mould smells like something rotten and has a more acid-like smell, like dirty sweaty socks. Could be what you suggest, but the only way to know for sure is to have an inspection. Could be the previous owners/tenants left something in the back of a cupboard or maybe its just residual cooking/smoking odors which have gotten into the carpeting or paint. Do you have any second-hand furniture in your home? It could also be the plumbing. The only way to know for sure is to get an inspection. For your sake, I hope it is something easily remedied.
My bath has been leaking into my kitchen ceiling, and there is now a little mould - Is it really harmful?
My house is privately rented. We have reported the bath to our landloard many times, and they keep coming and putting a seal around the bath, it holds it for about a week and then the problem starts again. I have noticed there is a little mould growing around my bath, and my kitchen ceiling - I just came across an article that claims mould may have contributed to Brittany Murphy's death, and before that I never even knew it was harmful... How do I get rid of it? Or is that up to my landlord to get rid? I'm worried as I have 2 young children and am pregnant. Any advice would be great. Thanks alot.
Answer: You need to get on at your landlord hun, he's the one that has to sort the problem not you (you pay him for live-able accommodation, not a damp/mouldy home!!) I don't know anything about the mould but I'd be really worried that the water/damp was near electric wiring for lights etc!! Hope you get it sorted soon xxx
Husband of Brittany Murphy ....?
Simon Monjack also died and i have read he had the same thing what Brittany had how is that possible?
Answer: Both deaths involved acute pneumonia. There are many forms of pneumonia. There forms of pneumonia that are not treatable with existing antibiotics or other medicines. Pneumonia is contagious and also an " opportunistic " disease. The opportunistic pneumonia may reside in a person in a chronic-like state with ebb and flow times of chest congestion and coughing. Then, in a time of stress, fatigue, or reduced immunity , become acute and quite deadly. The lungs suddenly fill with congestion, fail to provide oxygen for blood from the heart, and then the heart , starved for oxygen, goes into failure. This failure then turns into a catastrophe for the brain and body parts starved for oxygen failing. This very thing happened to my son-in-law. He seemed relatively well with some low grade pneumonia present on during the day on April 1, 2010. On the night of April 1, 2010 the pneumonia went acute, filled his lungs, and caused his heart to stop beating for too long He was dead on April 2, 2010.

Question about dead people?
I myself may not be dead, but i have now lost count of the many times i wish i WAS! And as for dead people, here are some of the names of the late people i take a lot of unusual interest in: 1. Diana, Princess of Wales 2. Aaliyah 3. Thuy Trang (Trini Kwan from the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers series) 4. Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes 5. Laura Sadler (British actress from Holby City) 6. Jade Goody 7. Jodie Smith (a student from Peterborugh Regional College who was killed in a fatal car wreck) 8. The dead victims of 9/11 9. Brittany Murphy I think about all these dead people every day because i'm not interested in any of those who are still alive, only in those who are now dead and no longer here! As morbid as this may sound, i'd very much rather be one of these dead people than still be alive whilst in the sort of hellish messed up situation that i'm in - even though they all died in the most horrible ways possible! Sometimes, i imagine myself as either Thuy Trang or Laura Sadler. Do any of you think that this is morbid, or what?
Answer: It sounds like you don't want your life to end, just the pain you're in. And you can change that pain by getting into recovery. Dying won't make you famous, you know. If you're in pain here, what makes you think killing yourself will free you of pain? Maybe it will be worse. It's a whole lot easier to go to therapy and get medicine from your doctor for depression, isn't it?
which is your favorite blonde?

Looking for Modern Music for Halloween Party?
I'm throwing a Halloween Party this year and looking for more modern dance, pop, rock, remixes, and jams that can tie into Halloween. Not looking for songs like "Monster Mash" or "The Time Warp."
